Read a nuts and seeds label with confidence
What serving size, ingredients, allergens, nutrition values and net quantity mean—and what to compare before buying.

At a glance
- Compare nutrition panels on the same weight basis.
- Read ingredients and allergens together.
- Verify the exact delivered label.
A food label is most useful when you read its parts together. A headline claim may attract attention, but the serving size, ingredient list and nutrition panel provide the context needed for a meaningful comparison.
Check the serving size first
Nutrition values are tied to a stated quantity. If two products use different serving sizes, compare them on the same weight basis before drawing conclusions.
Read ingredients in order
Ingredients are generally listed by weight, from highest to lowest. Look for the foods you expect and note added sweeteners, flavours or oils if these matter to you.
Never skip allergen information
Nuts and seeds can cause serious allergic reactions. Read the allergen statement and any “may contain” declaration every time, even if you have purchased a similar product before.
Understand quantity and price together
Net quantity tells you how much food is inside the pack. Price per gram can help compare value, while plan length explains how long a measured pack is intended to last.
Important: The delivered product label is authoritative for ingredients, allergens, nutrition and batch-specific information. Contact the seller before consuming a product if anything is unclear.
